It's been TOO LONG since we posted some news. We have a little bit for you!!

First off, thanks to everyone who came out to our Tranzac gig in Toronto last week - was fun to get to play again! We hope to do so again soon, likely early in the New Year. We're crossing our fingers that it will be our CD release party!

We were excited to have once again been featured on CBC's Vinyl Cafe with Stuart McLean last weekend (Nov. 5 & 6) - we recorded the show in November of 2003. Big Yellow Taxi, the song we performed, will be appearing on our next album.

Speaking of which...the three of us were in the studio a couple weeks back continuing work on our CD.  We're getting really close to being done, and we're all very excited!  The working title is "My Favorite Shirt"; and some of the tracks we're planning to include on it are:

My Favorite Shirt, Love the One You're With, Big Yellow Taxi, Love of Mine, Taking on Too Much (new recording), Love Hurts, Wherever I Go (a new one!), Across the Border, These Boots (Are Made for Walking), & My Poor Heart

Big thanks to all of you for your support -thanks for checking in and hope to see ya soon!

Take care,

Suzie & Elana & Kim

P.S. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop us a line at vshmusic@hotmail.com .

May 2, 2003: Hey there! Long time no news! Well, here's some for you!

- We found out a little close to it's airing to let y'all know, but we were featured on April 26th on Global TV across Canada on a show entitled, "Alive and Well at the Yellow Door", celebrating 35 years of live music at the Yellow Door in Montreal. The show was a live concert recorded last year in Montreal - other artists featured included Jesse Winchester, Penny Lang and The Echo Hunters. It was an amazing night of music, and we felt truly honored to have been a part of it!

- In March 2003, we recorded three songs with producer Danny Greenspoon (Great Big Sea, Spirit of the West), which we hope will land on a new full-length CD! We'll keep you posted!

VSH was featured on Rogers Cable Program
Front Row Centre on Channel 22 in Ottawa.

"Folky Song, Funny Note" - the MP3! is now posted onsite - have a listen! It is also posted at Boingboing.net courtesy of our new fan, Cory Doctorow.
